Since 1977 we use a mortise and tenon joinery, water proof glue, polyurethane sealants, double weatherstripping, any glass our customer specify, finished sanded, hardware, stainless steel screws and pre-finishing options.

There are no standard sizes, each order is uniquely hand crafted. We only build fine quality products, truly one of a kind.

    FINISHING

    • Our products are hand built to order and are either finish or unfinished depending on the customer’s needs. It is highly recommended that finishing is discussed.

    • Finishing is available - This is performed by another vendor on the San Juan Island; they will only finish per project supplied specifications and approved samples.

    GLAZING

    • Window Craft glazes primarily with Cardinal family products but can glaze any glass based on project specifications.

    • Our standard glazing is a dual glazed insulated unit with Low-E 270/272 with light bronze spacer. is a .28 default U-value per 2021 WA State code table R303.1.3(5).‍ ‍

    • We can supply any glass type a project demands.  The options are endless.  Oversize glass ships lose for field glazing by others.

    • Water resistant glue, color match sealants

    • Stainless steel screws, fasteners, and glazing pins

    • Fully sanded to 150 grit and eased edges

    • Q-Lon® Compression weatherstripping,

    • Glazing and grid options Leaded, SDL or TDL per order request  

    • Basic frame no liners, options for Interior and Exterior extensions are available

    • Flat or Raised Panel options

    • Sapele wood door threshold with either Pemko 145D or 159D saddle on swing door.

    • Swing doors come hung with solid brass Emtek hinges standard – other available

    • Lock in Hand hardware by others.  We can prep for any hardware in our shop as long as we have the hardware in hand
