What we do

At Window Craft, we’re more than a shop—we’re a small, local team of craftsmen who have built our lives and families alongside one another. We employ locally, build locally, and remain proudly “small-town made” while delivering fine, luxury windows and doors to clients around the world.

As one of the last small-scale manufacturers of high-quality architectural windows and doors in the United States, we’ve weathered recessions together, supported one another’s families, and mentored the next generation of makers.

Each order starts with someone else’s vision. Independent sales teams work hand and hand with the onsite production team at the plant. No order is alike. Materials are all sourced once approval is complete.

We start with the base and that is the wood. Quality is crucial in our process and we will reject vendors wood supplies. Rough cut lumber is hand selected by craftsman run thru our machines, benched for assembly, glazing and shipping.

Together, our core team carries over 120 years of hands-on experience crafting this exact product, right here at home.

The Window Craft team is superb in matching demanding design criteria while producing windows of exceptional quality. We are proud to have them in our projects; secure in the fact that Window Craft stands behind their product

Our History

Window Craft began its operation in La Conner, Washington, in 1977 by former owner David Marsaudon. By 1979 Marsaudon recognized a need to serve the custom homes being built in the San Juan Islands and relocated the business to Friday Harbor, Washington.

Over the years, Marsaudon expanded the company’s reach beyond the Western United States to include Alaska and Hawaii, while also providing service nationwide. Window Craft has produced windows and doors for many waterfront projects in the challenging environments of Puget Sound, Alaska, Hawaii, and beyond giving the Window Craft team invaluable insights into the durability and performance of their products. The company’s specialized joinery and methods have stood the test of time.

In February 2024, Window Craft was purchased by new ownership, bringing another 25 years of experience in the window and door industry to Window Craft’s arsenal of expertise. With an ongoing commitment to the legacy of crafting high-quality wood windows and doors, Window Craft is poised to innovate while preserving its tradition of quality craftsmanship for future generations.

Our mission is to craft premium wood windows and doors that exceed expectations by blending timeless aesthetics with enduring quality for generations. We are proud that our products are tailored to enhance the character and personality of the spaces they help create.

Our Facility

Realizing a need for a larger production facility, we broke ground on March 14, 2003 and constructed a 22,400 square foot building. This new facility affords our craftsmen the space, lighting and state of the art equipment to produce the quality of window for which Window Craft is known. Our talented production team consists of craftsmen with exceptional expertise in custom millwork and finishing
